About

Hi! My name is Gautam Kamath. I’m an assistant professor in the Cheriton School of Computer Science at the University of Waterloo. I completed my Ph.D. in computer science at MIT in 2018, and then spent a year at the Simons Institute for the Theory of Computing. My research focuses on the theoretical foundations of computer science, particularly statistics and machine learning. A recent interest of mine has been the intersection of these areas with differential privacy.
